Original Kids Songs That Spark Creativity and Build Confidence


Through movement, rhyme, and theatre arts, these songs help children discover their voice while having fun.

Embracing retirement, I started writing kids' songs, joking with family and friends that I'm a "Grandma turned singer-songwriter." Since then, I've pulled inspiration from my grandkids: Jack (pictured below) started the song, Jack-o'-Lantern. And, by conducting drama workshops with the BEAT Children's Theater.

Whether you need a quick brain break for your classroom, an energy outlet for home, or creative activities for your curriculum, these songs work because they're designed by someone who understands children - a grandmother, former preschool owner, and performer.

What I’ve Been Up to

Enjoyed teaching four drama workshops at the Beat Theatre over the summer. Kennedy and I met there, and I asked her to join me in singing and dancing to my new song, Bell, Bell. It’s a hoot of a song that celebrates “happy kids” who like to grow, grunt, smile and jump!
